Hey, Team Ferguson here with
another installment in our series comparing anti-choice Republican Dave
Reichert’s congressional voting record to MAGA Republicans like Ted Cruz,
Jim Jordan, and Mitch McConnell.

Today, we’re taking a look at how Reichert compares to the new Speaker of
the House, Mike Johnson. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t look good for Reichert!

According to ABC News’ FiveThirtyEight, Reichert aligned with Donald
Trump’s position on 92.5% of the votes he cast in Congress.

Mike Johnson and Dave Reichert both voted in line with Donald Trump 92% of the
time, according to analysis by ABC News’ FiveThirtyEight

That’s the same percentage as Mike Johnson, who voted in line with Trump’s
position 92.8% of the time.

The New York Times called Speaker Johnson:

* An “archconservative”
* A “natural heir” to the Tea Party movement and Trumpism
* A “key architect” of Republican efforts to overturn the 2020 election

Washington state law requires elected officials like Bob to stop all
fundraising from midnight December 8th until the legislative session

Because Reichert is not an elected official, he will be allowed to
fundraise while Bob can’t, potentially raking in millions of dollars to
defeat Bob in the governor’s race.
