Hi John,

As you read this, corporate beauty brand Dove is pumping billions of single-use plastic bottles and sachets into vulnerable communities.

Dove’s chief execs will tell you they care about women and girls. They’re spending millions on ‘Real Beauty’ campaigns to convince you that their business is a force for good.

But behind their public image lies a true story of real harm. Dove’s near impossible-to-recycle plastic sachets are wreaking havoc in the Global South, polluting neighbourhoods, choking rivers, and when burned, are leaching toxic chemicals into the air we breathe.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. If enough people reading this email sign the open letter to Dove they’ll have nowhere to hide; the whole world will read about their bad behaviour and Dove will be forced to address the issue publicly.

Yes, I want to stop Dove’s toxic plastic hypocrisy: [link removed]

Over 200 million of the world’s poorest people are at risk from more severe and frequent flooding caused by the waste of brands like Dove. That’s the population of the UK, France and Germany combined.

The truth is Dove is fuelling a plastic pollution crisis that disproportionately harms the young women and girls they claim to champion. They have to change.

But Dove will only change it if we join together and send them a message they can’t ignore.

It was Greenpeace supporters adding their names to petitions back in 2011 that forced Barbie manufacturers, Mattel, to keep rainforest destruction out of its supply chains.

Together, we've stood up to corporate giants before, and won. Now, let's make Dove realise that their time of plastic hypocrisy is over. Are you in?

Yes, I’ll use my voice to stop Dove’s toxic pollution: [link removed]
