Dear John,

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow, but we’re opening our match one day early! If you donate between now and midnight tomorrow, November 28th, your gift will be matched, doubling your impact! Donate: [link removed]

Our work–protecting Oregon’s natural legacy, electing pro-climate and pro-environment candidates, and holding our elected leaders accountable–is only possible with the help of thousands of grassroots supporters like you.

This Giving Tuesday, we asked OLCV members why they invest in our work. Here is what a couple of them had to say:

“OLCV leads the way by organizing environmental and climate groups all over the state to help create, support, and ultimately pass vital legislation to curb greenhouse gas emissions. We all rely on their analysis and expertise. Their leadership is irreplaceable.” – KB Mercer

“In my mind, the most impactful way to advance environmental and conservation objectives is legislative. And particularly at this time, action at the state level is critical. OLCV has a robust process for evaluating and supporting candidates for state level office, and an equally robust system of tracking and reporting their environment-related voting records (the scorecard). I use both OLCV's candidate endorsements and the annual scorecard to inform my own voting as well as my local political activism. If you're wanting to see action on environment and conservation in Oregon, invest in OLCV.” – Bonnie New

This Giving Tuesday, will you join KB, Bonnie, and the thousands of others who share our commitment to protecting the Oregon we love? Donate: [link removed]

We know that there are so many important causes to support on Giving Tuesday and all year long. Thank you for considering giving to OLCV.

With sincere gratitude,
April Christenson, OLCV Development Director
