“In my mind, the most impactful way to advance environmental and conservation objectives is legislative. And particularly at this time, action at the state level is critical. OLCV has a robust process for evaluating and supporting candidates for state level office, and an equally robust system of tracking and reporting their environment-related voting records (the scorecard). I use both OLCV's candidate endorsements and the annual scorecard to inform my own voting as well as my local political activism.
