Here’s some food for thought as you gather and reflect today…

Hi John,

You are probably familiar with the Thanksgiving story of the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people who gathered together in difficult circumstances to give thanks for the fall harvest. But did you know that it was 242 years later that Thanksgiving became an official holiday, and that it was in the middle of our country’s civil war?

Every year since 1863, our country has paused to give thanks.

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

As you and I pause with our families and give thanks today, I want to personally thank you for your ongoing commitment to rescuing moms and the babies in their wombs from abortion. Because of you, we have so much to be thankful for!
