NIJ has released a list of 30 anticipated funding and programmatic priorities for fiscal year 2024. In addition to research areas funded in previous years, we?ve added several new topics:

* Evaluation of the Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program
* Field-initiated action research partnerships
* Novel Psychoactive Substance Discovery, Education, and Reporting Center
* Evaluation of the Safer Together Program
* 911, alternative hotlines, and alternative responder models
* Money laundering, firearms, and human trafficking nexus
