Anticipated NIJ Fiscal Year 2024 Funding Opportunities

NIJ has released a list of 30 anticipated funding and programmatic priorities for fiscal year 2024. In addition to research areas funded in previous years, we?ve added several new topics:

• Strategies to increase the use of evidence-based policies and practices
• Evaluation of the Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program
• Field-initiated action research partnerships
• Novel Psychoactive Substance Discovery, Education, and Reporting Center
• Evaluation of the Safer Together Program
• 911, alternative hotlines, and alternative responder models
• Money laundering, firearms, and human trafficking nexus
