HAPPY VETERANS DAY   My friend, On this Veterans Day, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for our Veterans' dedication to our nation. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices they've made, hardships they've endured, and the extraordinary courage they've displayed while serving our country. As we reflect on the significance of Veterans Day, I want to assure your our office is committed to supporting our veterans and ensuring they have the resources to thrive. We have: Held quarterly roundtables to hear Veterans' concerns. Helped Veterans navigate the VA and receive their benefits. Prevented the closure of VA medical facilities. Secured funding for improvements to the Brooklyn VA Hospital, including more nurses, parking and renovated medical suites. Provided local veterans with service medals and facilitated a Bronze Star Award ceremony with the Secretary of the Navy for a WWII vet.
