Creative Commons is dedicated to fostering a global community that values and facilitates open access to creative and intellectual works. We believe that the power of "better sharing" can transform the way we create, collaborate, and innovate.
You may have noticed CC’s increased focus on generative AI and the commons this year. We have witnessed the profound impact of AI on how we create, consume, and distribute knowledge and culture. As AI continues to evolve, the importance of open access and ethical sharing becomes increasingly crucial. It's not just about sharing art, research, or educational materials; it's about ensuring that AI technologies benefit everyone, rather than a select few.
