Gun violence is an epidemic — one that touches every community no matter
the social, economic, or racial differences.

In 2023 alone, we’ve seen over 500 mass shootings. There have been more
mass shootings in the past five years than in any other half-decade since
they started tracking this data in 1966.^1

We cannot continue to live in a world where multiple mass shootings a day
is considered normal. This is far from normal.

It should not be easier to buy an assault weapon than buy tickets to a
movie or a concert,

We need bold, immediate, and transformative legislation to further prevent
gun violence now. Not tomorrow, not next month, but right now.
