Here are some recent updates.
* A judge dismissed ([link removed]) lawsuits challenging a New Hampshire law that added new ID requirements for voters who register for the first time on Election Day. Voting rights groups argued the law burdens the right to vote and violates the state constitution.
* In the wake of a multimedia pressure campaign launched by an election denier-run group, Speaker of the Wisconsin Assembly Robin Vos (R) advanced ([link removed]) an impeachment resolution for the state’s top elections official, Meagan Wolfe.
* The Kansas Supreme Court held ([link removed]) oral argument in a lawsuit challenging two voter suppression laws that restrict ballot assistance and impose signature matching requirements. The complaint claims that the laws violate the Kansas Constitution.
* A recent analysis revealed ([link removed]) mail-in ballot rejections disproportionately affect voters of color in Virginia, with Black voters' mail-in ballots being rejected at more than twice the rate of white voters in the commonwealth.
