President Trump has made crystal clear that he is willing to terrorize undocumented immigrants everywhere as a means to maintain his popularity with his base.

That's right: Trump is ready to torment millions of families with the threat of detention and deportation just so he can reassure himself that his people still like him.

We see this terror in the pardoning of the proudly-murderous Sheriff Joe Arpaio. We see this terror when border control checkpoints were left active even as Texans were told to flee the path of Hurricane Harvey. And we see this terror in Trump's move to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

*That's why I wanted to ask you to stand in solidarity with our friend Maria Torres and all eleven million undocumented people.*

Will you stand with Maria and call on Congress to pass legislation that protects ALL undocumented people [ [link removed] ]?

*When DACA recipients signed up for the program, they divulged sensitive personal information to the federal government that could now be used as a list to round up and detain for deportation hundreds of thousands of people.*

This is a crisis bordering on catastrophe.
