Welcome to our campaign's first email newsletter! In each newsletter we'll include information about upcoming events, my thoughts on pressing issues, some photos from the campaign trail, and how you help us win this crucial U.S. House seat.

** On the Campaign Trail

Team Johnson has been busy at work on the campaign trail! Here are some of the events we attended this month.

Reed House Party:
Two of our fantastic supporters, Bob and Kelli Reed, opened their home to host a Meet and Greet with Drew! The house was filled with neighbors and friends who had an opportunity to share their thoughts with Drew, listen to his platform, and learn more about the race.


** LVMPD National Night Out:

Drew and Sarah joined LVMPD for their National Night Out in Downtown Summerlin, right in the heart of CD3! The National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.


** Asian Economic Alliance Meeting:

Drew and Sarah were honored to help recognize Yaling "Cathy" Qin for completing her very successful first year as President of the Las Vegas-based America Asia Economic Alliance (AAEA). The Las Vegas Chinese News Network featured this event.


** Las Vegas Conservative Town Hall group:

Drew was excited to speak for a second time at the Las Vegas Conservative Town Hall! He shared stories from his 25 years of fighting for individual liberty and limited government.


** Issue of the Day:

Just over a week ago, hundreds of Israelis were killed as Hamas militants carried out an unprecedented, multifront attack on Israel, firing over 2,500 rockets as dozens of Hamas fighters infiltrated the heavily fortified border by air, land, and sea, catching the country off-guard on the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War.

Since then, over 1,000 more innocent Israelis have lost their lives due to these egregious attacks. Americans must stand united with Israel, our great friend and ally in the Middle East. Our first priority should be to ensure Israel has all the resources it needs to neutralize the terrorists and rescue the Israeli civilians who have been taken hostage.

Secondly, we must hold the Biden administration and Congressional leaders such as Susie Lee accountable. They must answer for appeasing Tehran and granting the regime unprecedented revenues through ransom and illicit oil sales. This money is directly funding these terrorists to attack Israel. When I am in Congress, I will stop the flow of our tax dollars to terrorist groups and anti-Israel organizations.

I wish I could say the same for my opponents. One of my Republican primary opponents, Heidi Kasama, directed thousands of dollars in PAC contributions to pro-HAMAS extremists in Congress, including Ilhan Omar and Rashid Tlaib.

The Democrat incumbent Susie Lee was endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America, who recently came under fire after expressing their "steadfast solidarity" with HAMAS. ([link removed]) Instead of condemning this outlandish statement, Susie Lee was as quiet as a church mouse, despite several other Democrat elected officials denouncing the DSA and their disgusting rhetoric.
