Governor Signs Executive Order Awarding Funds to Help Families in Need and Encourage Workforce Development

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)?Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed Executive Order 2023-11D [ [link removed] ], directing Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program funding to initiatives that will assist? struggling families and encourage workforce development. The executive order distributes funds to the following agencies:

a. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Alliance for Children and Families* in providing eligible families with housing and financial education in Stark County.
b. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Relink* in providing community resources to help eligible families in Cuyahoga County.
c. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *American Fitness Health and Wellness Institute* in providing support services, such as housing support and workforce development training, in Montgomery County.
d. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Catholic Social Services of Columbus* in providing individualized assistance and emergency financial assistance to eligible students in Franklin County.
e. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Center of Hope Family Services, Inc.* in providing academic, social, and emotional support to eligible children through the ELEVATE after-school program in Lucas County.
f. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Columbus Diaper Bank* in providing diapers and baby wipes to eligible families in Franklin County.
g. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *City of Refuge GoodLife Foundation* in providing support services in the areas of financial literacy and mental health awareness in Franklin County.
h. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Community Building Institute Middletown, Inc.* in providing workforce development training in Butler and Warren counties.
i. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Citilookout Trauma Recovery Center* in providing counseling and group support to eligible individuals who have experienced trauma in Clark County.
j. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *I?m in Transition: Recovery, Counseling, and Outreach Services*?in providing eligible individuals in recovery with housing, health screenings, mentorship, and life skills development in Cuyahoga County.
k. Up to Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000) will be used to assist *Adoption Network Cleveland* in providing parent education, resources to promote family resiliency, and increase the likelihood of successful placements for children in Cuyahoga County.
l. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *Community of Faith Assembly* in providing support services, such as personal and workforce development training, to eligible families in Cuyahoga County.
m. Up to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) will be used to assist *Esperanza* in providing services to address educational needs of the Hispanic community, including mentoring, family engagement, and postsecondary education in Cuyahoga County.
n. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *Everlasting Covenant Ministries* in providing case management, support resources, and temporary housing to those who are at risk of homelessness in Cuyahoga County.
o. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *Cuyahoga Community College Foundation* in providing workforce development training to eligible individuals in Cuyahoga County.
p. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *It?s Not a Moment, but a Movement* in providing food assistance, health screenings, job fair resources, and support services to eligible individuals in Summit and Cuyahoga counties.
q. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *David?s Challenge Young Achievers Ohio* in providing mentorship, training, and educational literacy programs in Cuyahoga County.
r. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Dayton Dream Center* in providing recovery services to sex trafficking survivors in Montgomery County.
s. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Family Promise of Greater Cleveland* in providing employment assistance to homeless individuals in Cuyahoga County.
t. Up to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) will be used to assist *Pipeline to God Communications* in providing academic development and social-emotional skills for youth, grades 3-8, to decrease the high school dropout rate and increase post-secondary education enrollment in Cuyahoga County.
u. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland* in providing support services, such as job placement support and housing services, to eligible individuals in Cuyahoga County.
v. Up to Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) will be used to assist *The Family Resource Center of Wickliffe* in providing support services, such as food assistance, clothing, and personal development services, to eligible families in Lake County.
w. Up to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) will be used to assist *Providence House* in providing family preservation and crisis intervention services in Cuyahoga County.
x. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Front Steps Housing and Services* in providing housing and behavioral health services in Cuyahoga County.
y. Up to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) will be used to assist *Chabad Center/LifeTown* in supporting eligible students with special needs reach their educational goals in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Hocking, Jackson, Licking, Madison, Marion, Morrow, and Union counties.
z. Up to One Hundred and Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($125,000) will be used to assist *Women2Women* in providing mentorship and support services to eligible families in Franklin County.
aa. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Fairfield County TeenWorks* in providing workforce development training to eligible youth in Knox and Fairfield counties.
bb. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Hancock Christian Clearing House* in providing eligible children with new shoes in Franklin County.
cc. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Central Ohio Youth for Christ* in providing workforce development training to eligible youth and young adults in Franklin County.
dd. Up to Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) will be used to assist *Heritage Christian Schools of Ohio* in providing personal development programs focused on family and education to eligible youth, grades 6-8, in Stark County.
ee. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Jewish Family Service of Cincinnati* in providing workforce development training and support services to eligible families in Hamilton County.
ff. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Jewish Family Services of Columbus* in providing a variety of support services, such as workforce training, to women from low-income households in Franklin County.
gg. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Kingdom Image Arts* in providing eligible students with academic support, emotional guidance, and education in Franklin County.
hh. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Schealthness, Inc.* in providing eligible students with academic, social, and emotional services in Franklin County.
ii. Up to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) will be used to assist *South Side Hope Community Development Corporation* in providing mentorship, personal development, and workforce development training to eligible families in Franklin County.
jj. Up to Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) will be used to assist *The Refuge* in providing residential recovery services in Franklin County.
kk. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Kingdom Knowledge Foundation* in providing support to eligible families by increasing personal development and community engagement through mentoring in Franklin County.
ll. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *YWCA Dayton* in providing support services to eligible children who are exposed to violence in Montgomery County.
mm. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *YMCA of Central Stark County* in providing a safe place for eligible students to continue learning while having access to tutoring and resources to ensure growth and development in Stark County .
nn. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Lead the Way Learning Academy* in providing after-school and school-day programming to eligible youth, grades 5-8, in Franklin County.
oo. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Muslim Family Services of Ohio* in helping eligible families in Franklin County by providing comprehensive services that eliminate barriers to work, and advance work readiness.
pp. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Learning Grove Families Forward* in providing in-school and after-school programming and support services in Hamilton County.
qq. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Lower Lights Ministries* in providing workforce development training in Franklin County.
rr. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Mommies Matter* in providing transportation services to eligible pregnant mothers and their children in Delaware, Fairfield, and Franklin counties.
ss. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services* in providing support services to eligible families in Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties.
tt. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *Her Story, Inc.* in providing recovery support and housing services to eligible women in Greene, Clark, Franklin, Hamilton, Madison, and Montgomery counties.
uu. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *BLOC Ministries* in providing workforce development training programs that support eligible women and teen girls in Hamilton County.
vv. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Freestore Foodbank* in providing workforce development training in Hamilton County.
ww. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Naaleh Cleveland* in providing support groups, mentorship programs, counseling services, and educational activities to children in Cuyahoga County.
xx. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *New Life Community Development Corporation* in providing a summer camp and after-school programs for youth, grades 3-8, in Cuyahoga County.
yy. Up to One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000) will be used to assist *Ohio Hispanic Coalition* in providing workforce development training in Franklin County.
zz. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Ohio Valley Youth Network* in providing life skills, after-school, and summer programs to eligible students in Jefferson, Harrison, Belmont, and Carroll counties.

fff. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Pregnancy Solutions and Services Inc.*?in providing mobile medical clinics and facilities that provide free early perinatal care to reduce infant mortality in Summit County.
ggg. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church* in providing education and personal development training to eligible families in Mahoning County.
hhh. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Pyramid Community Development Corporation* in providing computer technology and entrepreneurship readiness programs in Franklin County.

Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Safe Families for Children Alliance* in providing support services, such as housing support and workforce development training, to eligible families in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Summit, Montgomery, Ashtabula, Geauga, Medina, Stark, Wayne, Miami, Warren, Butler, and Hamilton counties.
jjj. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Seeds of Literacy* in providing an adult beginner literacy program in Cuyahoga County.
kkk. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *Society of St. Vincent de Paul ? District Council of Cincinnati* in providing rent and utility assistance to families at risk of eviction and homelessness in Hamilton County.
lll. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *South Street Ministries* in providing support and recovery services to eligible individuals in Summit County.
mmm. Up to Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) will be used to assist *Spirit of Faith Adoptions* in providing adoption support and education for expectant mothers in Lucas, Cuyahoga, Summit, and Richland counties.
nnn. Up to One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) will be used to assist *St. Vincent de Paul Social Services, Inc.* in providing emergency shelter, food assistance, clothing, and housing to eligible families experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County.
