As a Support Officer within Housing Aid's private sector team you will provide provide administrative support within the Private Sector team, including performance monitoring and case investigation. *ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:***
* Ability to advocate, negotiate on behalf of and represent citizens at service delivery level

The Safer Housing and ASB Service works with tenants, landlords and other agencies to improve the quality of private rented housing. As well as licensing in excess of 30,000 properties, there is a dedicated team inspecting high-rise and large blocks for fire safety. This role will provide support to public meetings and liaison groups with landlords as well as ensuring that tenants are kept informed. You will be based in the Specialist Projects Team working closely with the Housing team managers, communications officer and other colleagues.
* * You will be required to deal with the public by phone and email and occasionally face to face, including events that may be out of normal working hours. You will arrange meetings and events and take notes where required, manage mailing lists and respond to queries from colleagues, the public and other organisations.
