As a Support Officer within Housing Aid's private sector team you will provide provide administrative support within the Private Sector team, including performance monitoring and case investigation. You will also provide?advice and assistance to customers in emergency accommodation, with a particular focus on ensuring Housing Benefit claims are in place.?

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:?
  • Ability to advocate, negotiate on behalf of and represent citizens at service delivery level?

The Safer Housing and ASB Service works with tenants, landlords and other agencies to improve the quality of private rented housing. As well as licensing in excess of 30,000 properties, there is a dedicated team inspecting high-rise and large blocks for fire safety. This role will provide support to public meetings and liaison groups with landlords as well as ensuring that tenants are kept informed.?? You will be based in the Specialist Projects Team working closely with the Housing team managers, communications officer and other colleagues.
