Transphobic Mail Piece Attacking Sylvia Swayne Reaches Voters
Last night, news broke that a mysterious (and potentially illegal) piece of literature [[link removed]] had reached voters in Alabama house District 55. This mailer – which contained no paid for by information – used transphobic language to describe Victory Fund endorsed candidate Sylvia Swayne [[link removed]] is the first out trans person to run for state office in Alabama [[link removed]] and would be the first out trans person elected in the state’s history [[link removed]] !
