John – let’s just say the quiet part loud: Republicans are in disarray, and Kevin McCarthy only has himself to blame.

McCarthy will go down as the weakest Speaker in history, and it’s obvious why. He let far-right extremists in his party take the driver's seat, his party has no plan to actually govern, and there’s no leader to helm this sinking ship. It would almost be comical if it didn’t leave the American people at such a massive risk.

But while Republicans stand divided, Democrats are delivering for our constituents.

We’ve made real progress on gun violence prevention, lowering healthcare costs, and addressing the housing crisis.

Republicans are going to keep fighting each other. Fine. Meanwhile, I’m getting to work to actually deliver for our community and keep our movement pushing forward in Congress. But I need your help to stay there, because the reality TV castoffs across the aisle may not have a plan, but they do have a warchest.

But once Republicans finish attacking each other, they’ll redirect those attacks at me and the movement we’ve built. We can’t let them get a head start, so we need to build up our grassroots strength right now.
