Our ADL Center on Extremism is debunking some of the most heinous, false and misleading narratives, including:

- Demonstrators chanted “we want Jewish genocide” at UPenn.
- Israel will attack Palestine to expedite The Great Replacement.
- New York City faced credible threats of terrorism on “Friday of Al-Aqsa Flood.”
- Armed terrorists in the U.S. are disguising themselves as Jews.

Antisemitism Around the Globe: ADL and the rest of the J7 — seven of the largest Jewish communities in the Diaspora — appreciate the strong support of our governments and our law enforcement agencies for our Jewish communities, both in public statements and in actions to guarantee our security. Regrettably, our communities are seeing a shocking increase in antisemitic incidents, which foreshadows a troubling period ahead.

Read the J7 statement for a list of actions we are calling on government leaders around the world to take. For a rolling list of global antisemitic incidents since the Hamas attack, including incidents just this week in Vienna, London, Amsterdam and more,

Antisemitism + Political Violence: Highly antisemitic Americans are three times more likely to support violence to achieve certain political goals than the general population. This is the main finding of a new report from the ADL Center for Antisemitism Research and the University of Chicago Project on Security and Threats. It identifies a dangerous nexus between the increase in antisemitism and the deep distrust of longstanding democratic norms, institutions and processes. This is not limited to one party or ideology — we found support for political violence both on the far left and the extreme right.

“They are in the house”: During an ADL crisis webinar last week, we heard heartbreaking insights from an Israeli who found out in real time as his family members were taken hostage by Hamas. “There are terrorists outside the house,” then “They are in the house.” These are the last two messages he got from his relatives. The next he saw of them was their presence on a Hamas propaganda video.

We strongly urge the media to report fairly and verify information. This is not just a matter of getting the facts straight: In some places across the world, it can literally mean life or death for Jewish communities under siege. Read our

We applaud @POTUS’s extraordinary show of support for Israel & powerful re-affirmation of the US-Israel alliance. This visit & the US ironclad commitment to Israel’s security convey a strong message whereby the int’l community as a whole must stand on the right side of morality.

Throwing Molotov cocktails at a synagogue in #Germany because you’re angry about Gaza is straight-up antisemitism. Thank you, @Bundeskanzler, for the strong condemnation and promise of increased protection for the Jewish community.

We extend our support and solidarity with @SAJBD and the Jewish community of South Africa, who feel betrayed by the callously anti-Israel expressions of their government and their failure to support and protect South Africa’s Jewish citizens.
