Antisemitism Around the Globe: ADL and the rest of the J7 — seven of the largest Jewish communities in the Diaspora —
appreciate the strong support of our governments and our law enforcement agencies for our Jewish communities, both in public statements and in actions to guarantee our security. Antisemitism + Political Violence:
Highly antisemitic Americans are three times more likely to support violence to achieve certain political goals than the general population. This is the main finding of a new report from the ADL Center for Antisemitism Research and the University of Chicago Project on Security and Threats. It identifies a dangerous nexus between the increase in antisemitism and the deep distrust of longstanding democratic norms, institutions and processes. This is not limited to one party or ideology — we found support for political violence both on the far left and the extreme right.

“They are in the house”:
During an ADL crisis webinar last week, we heard heartbreaking insights from an Israeli who found out in real time as his family members were taken hostage by Hamas. “There are terrorists outside the house,” then “They are in the house.” These are the last two messages he got from his relatives. The next he saw of them was their presence on a Hamas propaganda video.

Protect Yourself Online: The Online Hate and Harassment Safety Guide
from the ADL Center for Technology and Society helps targets of antisemitism protect themselves and report hateful content on major social media and online game platforms. As current events trigger surges in hateful online messages, it is more important than ever for targets of hate to continue to speak out — while being able to do so safely. You can use this up-to-date guide to report problematic content to 24 social media platforms, gaming platforms, apps and websites. Reducing online antisemitism is one of the tenets of the National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, and ADL is a partner in this priority.

Crisis Conversations:
A new collection of resources is available to help young people understand the Hamas war on Israel and antisemitism and encourage them to act as advocates and allies.
