Gaza’s one million children are in a panic, seeking shelter wherever they
can as buildings around them fall to rubble.

A few vetted charities on the ground are positioned for immediate medical
help, and thousands of donations from our community right now could go
directly to these groups, with no red tape. They could have the money in
hours, not days or weeks, and put it to use as soon as they can.

Hamas’ attack killed hundreds of civilians and now dozens are being held
hostage. It’s one of the most horrific attacks on the Jewish community in
Israel in recent years and it has, rightly, shocked the world and
triggered an outpouring of support and solidarity with the victims and
their families.

But now the response to this violence is even more violence. Israel's
bombing of Gaza is creating a large-scale humanitarian catastrophe, and
innocent people, mostly children, are paying the price.

Brave organisations on the ground are already giving urgent medical care
to civilians. Others are rushing to help combat medics who will work
tirelessly to stem the loss of life.

Let's show our solidarity with people in Gaza and get them the assistance

Through its military blockade of Gaza, Israel is maintaining an open air
prison of over 2 million innocent people who lack basic human needs like
access to clean water, medicine and food. It's part of a system of
oppression that underpins Israel's existence and has created a critical
human rights crisis.

Now Israel is layering a new wave of violent attacks on this already
desperate situation. And we can and must help the civilians caught under
the onslaught. More than ever the people of Gaza need us— let’s send them
