Dear,

Tomorrow is Super Tuesday, the second-biggest day of voting in America all
year.

But there's a big problem. More than half of eligible voters aren't likely
to vote. And of those who do, 30 percent or more won't complete their
ballot.

Courage California is making a final push to make sure voters get to the
polls and are armed with the information they need to fill out their
complete ballot, including often overlooked but critically important races
at the local level.

make sure everyone makes their voices heard?

When people don't vote, it sends a message to elected officials that they
won't be held accountable. And we know that the people least likely to
cast a complete ballot are younger voters, people of color, and people
with lower incomes.

One of the big reasons that people don’t vote for local offices is that
they say they don't know enough. It’s called the SAT Effect: when we feel
like we don't know enough to give the "right" answer, we tend to leave our
ballot blank.(1)

The Courage California Voter Guide gives voters a reliable resource to
learn about progressive candidates and ballot measures beyond just
national races. The guide identifies candidates who will fight corruption
and increase representation, and it provides readers with candidate's
fact-checked platforms which highlights their achievements and progressive
potential.

Here are some of the other features of the Voter Guide:

* Provides a customized by-address ballot for voters to follow
* Fully digital and mobile friendly
* Includes races from all 58 counties

Courage California invested high-powered digital tools and thousands of
hours into creating the Progressive Voter Guide because we know that it
will work. Washington created a similar guide, and 10% of all voters there
used it in 2018. In 2019, a full 30% of Seattle voters used the Voter
Guide, including 35% of young voters and voters of color.

The impact is clear and the need is obvious, which is why we’ve created
the Courage California Voter Guide. Now we need to make sure that we get
this guide to every progressive voter possible before they turn in their
ballots for the upcoming primary.
