On September 7th, the Home Secretary endorsed Douglas Murray's contentious views as “mainstream” during a Commons statement.
Known for his explicit Islamophobic remarks, Murray has previously advocated for harsher conditions for Muslims and the demolition of mosques.
The MCB has criticised this endorsement, calling Murray's views “objectively racist, extremely Islamophobic” and urging unity against such dangerous and divisive sentiments.
