This year, we are hosting our annual 5K in Taos Pueblo, New Mexico. We are excited to be in community and for you to join us. We are excited to partner with the Pueblo of Taos to highlight the voices of our tribal leaders, youth, and impacted families, while in tribal community. We hope that you all feel grounded and energized as we build awareness around breaking cycles of violence and creating a future free from violence this October. Sign-Up Volunteering Opportunity On behalf of all of us at the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women, we are excited to share that we are hosting the 8th Annual I Will Run For Them 5K on October 21, 2023 from 10am-1pm (MST) in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos, NM. This year, we will be fully back in-person for this family friendly event and we are seeking your support to bring our communities together. As you know, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) and our annual run focuses on uplifting the resilience, strength, and spirit of our relatives. This event creates a space to honor survivors, cycle-breakers, and those who we have lost to violence. We bring together hundreds of people across our region and nation for our run and we would be honored for you to join us in our informational and service provider booth spaces. Priority will be given to current CSVANWMember organizations. Space is limited. Deadline to sign-up is Friday, October 13, 2023, by 7:00 p.m. (MDT).
