Thank you so much for registering for our 8th Annual I Will Run for Them 5K to honor the resilience, strength and spirit of our Native relatives impacted by domestic violence.

This year, we are hosting our annual 5K in Taos Pueblo, New Mexico. We are excited to be in community and for you to join us. We are excited to partner with the Pueblo of Taos to highlight the voices of our tribal leaders, youth, and impacted families, while in tribal community.

We hope that you all feel grounded and energized as we build awareness around breaking cycles of violence and creating a future free from violence this October.

Tabling Opportunity

As our community comes together for our 5K, we like to invite our community organizations to come and set up to table. We are happy to support our organizations by providing 1 table and up to 2 chairs at the Taos Community Center. Please feel free to share your resources and materials with all of our attendees.

Volunteering Opportunity

On behalf of all of us at the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women, we are excited to share that we are hosting the 8th Annual I Will Run For Them 5K on October 21, 2023 from 10am-1pm (MST) in the Pueblo of Taos in Taos, NM. This year, we will be fully back in-person for this family friendly event and we are seeking your support to bring our communities together.

As you know, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) and our annual run focuses on uplifting the resilience, strength, and spirit of our relatives. This event creates a space to honor survivors, cycle-breakers, and those who we have lost to violence.

We bring together hundreds of people across our region and nation for our run and we would be honored for you to join us in our informational and service provider booth spaces. Priority will be given to current CSVANWMember organizations. Space is limited.

Deadline to sign-up is Friday, October 13, 2023, by 7:00 p.m. (MDT).
