* *Audience:* Providers of in-scope services for EVV that provide personal care services, including some waiver services, home health services, and other interested parties
* *Effective date:*?Immediately
* *Summary:* DHS is sharing updates about EVV as the new system continues to roll out in Minnesota. This message includes information about a reduction in the range of the "geofence" boundary for EVV coming in December, as well as a link to an updated list of third-party providers of EVV services.

Interactive video approved for VA/DD-TM [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* Lead agency staff, providers, people receiving services and other interested parties
* *Effective date:*?May 12, 2023
* *Summary:* DHS received federal approval to allow the use of interactive video for VA/DD-TCM services. Effective May 12, 2023, VA/DD-TCM providers can use interactive video to meet minimum face-to-face contact requirements.
AASD messages
Updated HCBS requirements [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* Lead agencies, counties, managed care organizations, tribal nations, service providers, case managers, care coordinators and other interested parties
* *Effective date:*?March 18, 2023
* *Summary:* Effective March 18, 2023, new adult day service, adult foster care and customized living providers cannot bill for waiver services in settings in or adjacent to an institution until approved by DHS and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services through the heightened-scrutiny process.
DSD messages
Rate increase for ICF/DD DT&H services [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:*?Lead agencies, DT&H service providers, ICFs/DD and other interested parties
* *Effective date:*?Jan. 1, 2024
* *Summary:*?DHS will increase rates for ICF/DD DT&H services by 14.99%, effective Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, to comply with Minn. Stat. ?252.46. The payment rate will change in MMIS automatically, but DHS requires lead agencies, DT&H vendors and ICFs/DD to sign a three-party agreement when there is a rate change or cost-of-living adjustment.

* *Audience:*?Lead agencies, tribal nations, school staff, advocates, self-advocates, managed care organizations, families, caregivers, mental health and EIDBI providers and other parties interested in autism and EIDBI services
* *Effective date:* Immediately
* *Summary:*?DHS is recruiting new members for the EIDBI advisory group, which advises DHS on a health benefit for people younger than age 21 with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

* *Summary:* Minnesota?s Self-Direction Connection Conference is Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, in Mankato. At this conference, people who receive self-directed services can discuss their lived experiences with consumer directed community supports and the Consumer Support Grant.

Southern Minnesota Autism Community Resource Fair to be held in October [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* Youth and adults on the autism spectrum, parents, caregivers, advocates, lead agencies, educators, health care professionals, providers, employers and other interested parties
* *Event date:*?Oct. 30, 2023
* *Summary:*?The Southern Minnesota Autism Community Resource Fair will be held on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, in North Mankato. People of all ages and stages of their autism journeys are welcome to attend this public event featuring information on autism and related conditions, resources to help support children and adults on the autism spectrum, interactive sensory activities, giveaways and more.
