We just lived through the hottest month on record ([link removed]) . Our planet's heating up—but so is the fight for a livable climate. More and more Americans are worried about climate change. More and more of us know that urgent action is needed, and more of us are prepared to take our concerns to the ballot box.

We have the numbers, the science, and the people power. We're tackling this problem from many angles—and we're just getting warmed up. See below to join in.

** Paid Internships at Better Future Project

Join our team! Better Future Project is hiring two paid interns for the Fall of 2019, one for DivestEd, the national fossil fuel divestment program, and one for 350 Mass. ** Demonstration Calling On Mass Dems to Support a Climate Debate

Climate change is an emergency, and it's about time the Democratic Party acted like it. We'll show up at Democratic State Committee to tell our stories and demand our local party committee join us in calling on the DNC to host a #ClimateDebate. Make a video to support the Climate Strike: School strikers are calling on youth, parents, and all concerned citizens to join the September 20 Climate Strike and the week of action that follows. Adults will stand in solidarity with youth to ensure a just and livable future for all. Sunrise Boston Potluck Picnic: Come hang out, relax, and enjoy the warm weather. We'll provide some food, and please bring food if you can, as well as a plate and cutlery. We'll also provide some outdoor activities, and feel free to bring your own! See the Facebook event. Extinction Rebellion Event: We'll target a major player in the fossil fuel industry who we hope to take by surprise. Some people will participate in a die-in. Others are needed to speak, hand out info, chant and sing, witness, and act as marshals. Email [email protected] for more info. This is not intended to be an arrestable action. Young People Needed to Organize for the September Climate Strike: Do you know any youth aged 13-19 who are passionate about stopping climate change? Transportation and Climate Community Engagement Workshop: Interested in the intersection between transportation and climate? Action Against National Grid: Want to take action against National Grid and urge them to measure and fix gas leaks? Due to lack of recognition, they can't directly access to federal resources or get support. These signatures are coordinated with the Principal Chief on the tribe’s annual trip to visit DC decision-makers who have the power to approve the almost 40 year pending petition.
