are worried about climate change. More and more of us
know that urgent action is needed, and more of us are prepared to take
our concerns to the ballot box.

Better Future Project is hiring two paid interns for the Fall of 2019,
one for DivestEd, the national fossil fuel divestment program, and one
for 350 Mass. These positions are in partnership with the Mass Clean

Sunrise Boston Potluck Picnic: Come hang out,
relax, and enjoy the warm weather. We'll provide some food, and please
bring food if you can, as well as a plate and cutlery. We'll also
provide some outdoor activities, and feel free to bring your own! See
the Facebook event. Wed, Aug 7, 6-8 pm, behind the
Frog Pond Carousel (the Charles St/Beacon St side of Boston
Common).
Extinction Rebellion Event: We'll target a major
player in the fossil fuel industry who we hope to take by surprise.
Some people will participate in a die-in. Others are needed to speak,
hand out info, chant and sing, witness, and act as marshals. Email [email protected] for more info. This is not
intended to be an arrestable action. Though there's always a risk, our
plan is to leave politely when the authorities request it. Wed,

Young People Needed to Organize for the September Climate
Strike: Do you know any youth aged 13-19 who are passionate
about stopping climate change? Youth Climate Strike organizers are

Petition to Support United Houma Nation: Sign
this petition for federal recognition for the United Houma Nation. Due
to lack of recognition, they can't directly access to federal
resources or get support. These signatures are coordinated with the
Principal Chief on the tribe’s annual trip to visit DC decision-makers
who have the power to approve the almost 40 year pending petition. Sign the petition here.
