MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow announced a new book on the air: Prequel: An
American Fight Against Fascism. The deadline to pre-order has been

America toward fascism. As Maddow writes, "Our current American struggle
along these lines... has a prequel."

"I said I would never do this again, but I did," Maddow said about writing
books in her announcement on MSNBC. "I said after each of them I’d never
write another one, and now I have.”

In Prequel, Maddow explores the years-long sophisticated and well-funded
plot to overthrow the U.S. government and bring in authoritarian rule,
with the support of some of the country’s most influential elected
officials.
