MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow announced a new book on the air: Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism. The deadline to pre-order has been extended! You now have until Sunday to contribute $37 or more, and we'll send you a copy of Rachel Maddow's new book.

With democracy on the ballot in 2024, Maddow told her audience: "This is the [book] I am most proud of, at least I feel I’ve been most compelled to write."
Donald Trump is pledging to pardon insurrectionists and install a Cabinet that will be his personal army -- not serving the public. It would move America toward fascism. As Maddow writes, "Our current American struggle along these lines... has a prequel."
"I said I would never do this again, but I did," Maddow said about writing books in her announcement on MSNBC. "I said after each of them I’d never write another one, and now I have.”
In Prequel, Maddow explores the years-long sophisticated and well-funded plot to overthrow the U.S. government and bring in authoritarian rule, with the support of some of the country’s most influential elected officials.
The deadline to order is SUNDAY, October 1st at midnight to get Maddow's new book!
