Hi John,

As we rapidly approach our next FEC filing deadline, we wanted to share a few quick numbers to paint a picture of this campaign:

$38.65: Our average online donation in August

392: The number of individual donations we received last quarter

$10,000: The maximum amount a corporate PAC can donate to a candidate

258: The number of $38.65 donations we need to match a corporate max-out gift

The truth is, it's an uphill battle to run a people-powered campaign when your opponent is bringing in $10,000 donations from the likes of Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing.

But at the same time, that's why we're running a people-powered campaign: because we know that when Callie is in Congress, she'll be listening to the people of Michigan's First District rather than corporate lobbyists.

So here's the ask: We're going to need all the help we can get to repeat the historic fundraising haul we brought in last quarter. Can we count on you to chip in your first gift before the end of the quarter to help put Callie over the top?

Gratefully,

Team Callie Barr
