Dear John,

News about abortion access has dominated the summer and we expect much more to come this fall. We know that this flood of information can be confusing and overwhelming. Rest assured that PRH’s physician network is working to bring national attention to the long-term, far-reaching impacts of abortion restrictions and what they mean for the health and wellbeing of our communities.

One of those impacts? Many doctors can no longer provide comprehensive reproductive health care to patients as states threaten criminal penalties and exacerbate a dire maternity care crisis in large swaths of the country. Watch PRH Fellow Dr. Leilah Zahedi-Spung on MSNBC talk about her decision to leave Tennessee post-Dobbs and the devastating ripple effect of abortion bans on maternal health [[link removed]].

Outspoken physicians are one of the most powerful tools we have to fight back in this rapidly shifting landscape and we will continue to speak out and protect the communities we serve.

Your support makes this crucial, culture-shifting advocacy work possible day after day, fight after fight. Please support PRH today.
