And the lessons that they supposedly learned, following all of the ridiculous mea culpas and endless navel-gazing analysis, have been dutifully ignored. Take a recent profile of Lauren Boebert in Politico, for example. Lauren Boebert ditches "the MAGA thing" in Colorado? There isn't a soul in Colorado who believes that. Boebert hasn't changed a thing about herself or her approach to being a Member of Congress. The only thing that's changed is the media's willingness to publish totally absurd stories about her in pursuit of clicks and ad revenue. The point is this: if we are not in this fight, Boebert would be allowed to rewrite history and remake her image almost unimpeded.
