Friend, what a month it’s been.

Mitch McConnell bragged on TV about all the bipartisan bills he’s blocking in the Senate and refused to uphold his constitutional duty to hold a fair trial. Hundreds of you wrote in to share your struggles with issues like health care. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

February has been a reminder that it’s on all of us to step up and fight for our democracy.

The great news is, in a democracy, you can replace your leaders when they fail you—and that notion is powering us as we face down tomorrow’s fundraising deadline.

Nothing in a democracy can be taken for granted. I suspect that’s why a lot of us are part of this effort. So let’s give Mitch an extra strong reminder of what he’s up against.

If we all step up together to take on Mitch’s special-interest money machine, we can take away his fundraising advantage—and win. Will you chip in before tomorrow, our February deadline?
