in women and promotes the work of WomenHeart. Featuring

New Legislation on Heart Disease and Diabetes in Black Women
On February 27, Representative Joyce Beatty (D-OH), Co-Chair of the
Congressional Heart and Stroke Coalition, introduced H. Res. 873, a
resolution recognizing the importance of prevention, detection and
treatment for African-American women with heart disease and diabetes.
The bill recognizes the important work of WomenHeart and our partner
organization, Black Women's Health Imperative. Take action now
to support this resolution.

2020 Wenger (no woman)
Wenger Awards Tickets on Sale
Tickets for the 2020 Wenger Awards are now on sale. This annual event
highlights excellence in women's heart disease, including
research, practice, advocacy and communication. The dinner will be
held May 18 at the InterContinental Hotel at the Wharf in Washington,
DC.
