American cities need Republicans. Don’t believe us? Hear it directly from Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson right here [[link removed]]. Eric Johnson is a lifelong Democrat who announced today that he was leaving his party to become a Republican.

Yes, you read that right. The mayor of Dallas realized that his support for law enforcement and fiscal conservatism reflected principles of the Republican Party, not today’s far-left radical Democratic Party.

"Our cities desperately need the genuine commitment to these principles (as opposed to the inconsistent, poll-driven commitment of many Democrats) that has long been a defining characteristic of the GOP," said Eric Johnson.

You know what, John? He’s right! America’s major cities, including right here in Wisconsin, are facing record-high crime as Democrats run them into the ground. Meanwhile, Dallas has actually LOWERED their crime rates, from arrests to homicides. THAT sounds like Republican leadership!
