American cities need Republicans. Don’t believe us? Hear it directly from Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson right here. Eric Johnson is a lifelong Democrat who announced today that he was leaving his party to become a Republican. 

Yes, you read that right. The mayor of Dallas realized that his support for law enforcement and fiscal conservatism reflected principles of the Republican Party, not today’s far-left radical Democratic Party. 

"Our cities desperately need the genuine commitment to these principles (as opposed to the inconsistent, poll-driven commitment of many Democrats) that has long been a defining characteristic of the GOP," said Eric Johnson. 

You know what, John? He’s right! America’s major cities, including right here in Wisconsin, are facing record-high crime as Democrats run them into the ground. Meanwhile, Dallas has actually LOWERED their crime rates, from arrests to homicides. THAT sounds like Republican leadership!

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from Eric Johnson’s story today, it’s that getting a handle on crime, especially in major cities, requires Republican leadership. Democrats just won’t get the job done – and they haven’t, for years and years. 

If you want to see change, we need you to contribute to Republican efforts now. Help us elect Republicans who will deliver Dallas’ results to your nearest Wisconsin city. It’s what has to be done.
