I've always believed in the power of community. Growing up as the son of a butcher and a school bus driver, I learned about hard work, determination, and the value of looking out for one another.
My time as a Recon Marine officer, including commands while serving in the Persian Gulf and Somalian conflicts, only deepened my pride as an American and a Texan and my belief that everyone deserves the chance to thrive. We shouldn't be held back by broken systems or failed leadership.
Would you accept a 90% failure rate in any other aspect of your life? Imagine if your child's school failed to educate 90% of its students or if your plumber could only fix 10% of your water leaks. It's unthinkable, right? So why should we accept this from our city leadership?
Remember when I told you about that busted water main we came across? Residents were under water conservation notices, struggling to shower or wash clothes, while the city did nothing. It's just one example of how our city's leadership is failing us.
We deserve better. We deserve leadership that listens, acts, and truly serves our neighborhoods. Here's what I'm fighting for:
Safety First: Locking away repeat criminals and ensuring our streets are safe.Infrastructure: Preventing future flooding and fixing our roads.Budgets That Make Sense: No more piling debt on our backs.Tax Relief: You should keep more of what you earn.Transparency: A full city audit to root out waste and abuse.
I'm asking you to stand with me. Make a plan to vote for a brighter future for District G. Visit our website [[link removed]], learn more about our mission, and spread the word.
Let's shake things up and ensure our city serves us as it should. Together, we can make a difference.
Onward,
Tony Buzbee
