John,
I’ve always thought August is one of the most special times of the year. As summer vacation winds down, children and teachers all across Georgia have headed back to the classroom for the 2023-2024 school year. I still remember the feeling of butterflies in my stomach on the first days of school.
The beginning of the school year represents a new opportunity for our children to receive the gift of an education. America’s commitment to delivering a quality public education to all students is one of the values that makes this country great – and it wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of our public school teachers and administrators.
Please join me in wishing good luck to our students and educators as they begin a fresh new school year – sign my letter today! [[link removed]]

I still remember Jordan’s first days of school. He was such a curious kid who wanted to see everything, do everything, know everything. It was a joy to watch him learn and grow alongside his classmates.
I’m also thinking about how critical it is that we do everything in our power to keep our schools and our children safe. That starts with comprehensive gun reform that will put an end to the devastating school shootings that have ravaged our communities. No parent should EVER have to worry about their child’s safety when they send them off in the school bus.
But mostly, I’m filled with excitement as our next generation of leaders re-enters the classroom to broaden and sharpen their minds. Sign my letter now to wish our children and educators good luck in the new school year! [[link removed]]
