Dear Friend,

Thank you for being a member of the
Alzheimer's Association community. You not only recognize the threat
that Alzheimer's disease poses to ourselves and our loved ones -
you also understand the need for care and support and advancements in
research that can lead to more breakthroughs.

As I write to you today, World
Alzheimer's Day is two days away and so is our deadline to unlock
this powerful $175,000 World Alzheimer's Day Match Challenge. Please
take this opportunity to advance the fight against Alzheimer's disease
and make twice the impact.

For more than a decade, people around
the world have come together on World Alzheimer's Day, helping raise
awareness and to show their commitment in this fight against this
devastating disease.

There has never been a World
Alzheimer's Day like this one. Food and Drug Administration-approved
treatments offer new hope for those in the early stages of
Alzheimer's. But these promising breakthrough drugs are still out of
reach for many who need them. And more people are transitioning to
later stages of the disease every day, making them no longer eligible
for these treatments. So our work is far from done.

We won't rest until everyone with
Alzheimer's - at any stage - can get the treatment, care
and support they need and deserve. And we're counting on your
commitment today to help us get there.

Now, we must continue to invest in
research, as well as advocacy and outreach, so more people have access
to effective therapies and much-needed care and support resources.
When you make your first gift today, you have the opportunity to have
your gift matched and to shine a spotlight on Alzheimer's and all
other dementia.

And to help make this World
Alzheimer's Day even more impactful, Alzheimer's Association Zenith
Society members Dick and Marianne Kipper have pledged to match every
donation we receive until World Alzheimer's Day, September 21-
up to a total of $175,000. But in order to achieve this challenge, we
need to raise the same amount by the deadline. The Kippers' gift will
help fund Alzheimer's disease research, while your donation can be
matched to provide care and support and accelerate research that can
make more life-changing breakthroughs possible to help the millions of
Americans living with this terrible disease.
