For more than a decade, people around the world have come together on World Alzheimer's Day, helping raise awareness and to show their commitment in this fight against this devastating disease. There has never been a World Alzheimer's Day like this one. Food and Drug Administration-approved treatments offer new hope for those in the early stages of Alzheimer's. But these promising breakthrough drugs are still out of reach for many who need them. And more people are transitioning to later stages of the disease every day, making them no longer eligible for these treatments. So our work is far from done. We won't rest until everyone with Alzheimer's — at any stage — can get the treatment, care and support they need and deserve. And we're counting on your commitment today to help us get there. Now, we must continue to invest in research, as well as advocacy and outreach, so more people have access to effective therapies and much-needed care and support resources.
