I’m excited to share with first you that I’m running for re-election.
I’ll be officially launching my campaign on Saturday, October 7th at 4:00pm at Dew Drop Inn in Ward 5. I hope you’ll join me, my family, and supporters from across the city to kick-off our XYZ the June 2024 Democratic Primary.

As we prepare to kick off our campaign, I want to first thank you for your support and trust over the past 8 years. It’s been a privilege to serve as your At-Large Councilmember, and I’m proud of the work we’ve been able to get done together for DC residents.
From October through the June primary, I’ll be engaging with community members from all 8 wards. I’ll be talking about what we’ve gotten done so far, and what we should be doing next, with a focus on housing, public safety, and mental health resources. We know there’s more work to be done, and I’m committed to addressing these challenges.
I’ve filed to run as a fair elections candidate, so I’ll only be accepting contributions from individual donors. To qualify for Fair Elections funding, we need 250 contributions before October 10th. Can you make a contribution today to help us meet that threshold by our first reporting deadline? The maximum amount I can accept is $100.
