I'm excited to let you know that I have officially filed for re-election as a Democrat to the Council of the District of Columbia and I would love for you to join me for the official campaign launch on Saturday, October 7th, at 4:00 p.m. at Dew Drop Inn in Ward 5!

As a friend and valued supporter, it would mean so much to have you, along with my family and fellow supporters from across all eight wards, to kick-start our campaign for the June 2024 Democratic primary election. 

Before we embark on this journey, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and trust over the past eight years. Serving as your At-Large Councilmember has been a great privilege, and I take immense pride in the progress we've achieved together for the benefit of all DC residents. 
 
I will engage community members from all eight wards from October through the June primary. I will share our accomplishments to date and discuss my vision for the future, especially my emphasis on housing, public safety, mental health, and economic development that benefits everyone. We have much more to accomplish, and I am fully committed to tackling these challenges with determination. 
 
I am also proud to inform you that I have filed to run as a Fair Elections candidate, which means I will only accept contributions from individual donors. To secure Fair Elections funding, we need to gather 250 contributions from DC residents before October 10th. 
 
I can only reach this goal with your help. Can I rely on you to make a maximum per-person donation of $100?
