There was “... no break from the bullying, no break from the harassment.”

Hey
Friend of Trevor,
As a middle-school student, Logan had many anxious, sleepless nights. He’d be dreading the next day of school, where there was “no break from the bullying, no break from the harassment” he faced because of his LGBTQ identity.

The stigma and discrimination LGBTQ young people experience make them 4X+ more likely than their straight and cisgender peers to attempt suicide. This mistreatment can often happen in school.

Please deepen your commitment to LGBTQ young people by joining the Circle of Light, The Trevor Project’s donor community, with your first gift. ([link removed]) Right now, $25,000 in matching funds will turn every $1 you donate into $2.*

As one of Trevor’s newest donors, you’ll help ensure that Logan and all LGBTQ students are safe, respected, and accepted for who they are — in school and everywhere else.

When he was 14, Logan reached out to Trevor one night at 3:00 AM. One of our trained crisis counselors answered, providing the compassion and empathy that he needed.

“The Trevor Project … helped me come up with a plan [to] stay safe at school. And that was absolutely necessary for me to be able to complete my school career, for me to be able to be out and about in life and feel comfortable in my skin.”
—Logan (he/him)
MAKE A 2X-MULTIPLIED GIFT ([link removed])

Many schools have become even more hostile to LGBTQ students because of laws such as “Don’t Say Gay,” which ban even mentioning sexual orientation or gender identity in classrooms.

When students don’t receive an inclusive and affirming education, intolerance and cruelty can grow rapidly — and can further endanger the health and safety of LGBTQ young people like Logan. That makes Trevor’s work and your gift ([link removed]) especially critical today.

Your support can help Trevor deliver training, resources, and more to educators and other caring adults to better care for the LGBTQ young people they serve. Our workshops provide participants with lesson plans, empathy and awareness activities, tools to help prevent LGBTQ youth suicide, and more.
MAKE A 2X-MULTIPLIED GIFT ([link removed])

Let’s make sure classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and ballfields are places where supportive coaches, counselors, principals, and teachers help LGBTQ students learn, grow, thrive — and envision their own bright futures.

That’s the power of our collective action — and your generosity — so please make your gift today. ([link removed])

Together in service to LGBTQ young people,
