The stigma and discrimination LGBTQ young people experience make them 4X+ more likely than their straight and cisgender peers to attempt suicide. This mistreatment can often happen in school.

Many schools have become even more hostile to LGBTQ students because of laws such as “Don’t Say Gay,” which ban even mentioning sexual orientation or gender identity in classrooms.

When students don’t receive an inclusive and affirming education, intolerance and cruelty can grow rapidly — and can further endanger the health and safety of LGBTQ young people like Logan. That makes Trevor’s work and your gift especially critical today.
