Thank you Sen. Anderegg for your service. As a multi-county district, the Utah Republican Party is responsible for convening a special election caucus to elect his replacement. Per state law and our bylaws, the person chosen at this special election caucus will be appointed by the Governor to serve the remainder of Sen. Anderegg's term and face reelection in 2024 on the normal general election ballot. If you are a state delegate in SD22 or you live in SD22 and are interested in running for the position, the information below will be relevant for you: Date: October 11, 2023 Location: Mountain Ridge Jr. High School 5525 W. 10400 N. Highland, UT The filing deadline is October 4, 2023 at 5pm. Filing is now open and you can file with the Party by filing out this form.
