These are tough times for many Americans, and yet, what we are seeing in
Washington is more of a circus than a governing body.

As many of you have seen, GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert was just kicked out of a
theater for disrupting the show and causing a scene. While our
constituents are struggling to make ends meet, my colleagues across the
aisle are making headlines for all the wrong reasons. This begs to ask the
question—how are they helping YOU?

But that's not all. House Republicans have launched a sham impeachment
inquiry into President Biden, wasting taxpayer resources and time on
baseless accusations and are threatening a government shutdown that would
hurt working families and endanger our national security. 

Instead of working on legislation that would actually help the American
people—like affordable healthcare, workers' rights, fighting food
insecurity, and keeping kids in classrooms safe—they seem more interested
in playing games and putting on a clown show.

It's a distraction from what should be our focus: fighting for you and the
folks who need it most. While they're making ridiculous headlines, I'm
pushing for laws that would improve our education system, ensure fair
wages, and protect our environment!
