We deserve better from our elected officials
John,
These are tough times for many Americans, and yet, what we are seeing in Washington is more of a circus than a governing body.
As many of you have seen, GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert was just kicked out of a theater for disrupting the show and causing a scene. While our constituents are struggling to make ends meet, my colleagues across the aisle are making headlines for all the wrong reasons. This begs to ask the question—how are they helping YOU?
But that's not all. House Republicans have launched a sham impeachment inquiry into President Biden, wasting taxpayer resources and time on baseless accusations and are threatening a government shutdown that would hurt working families and endanger our national security.
Instead of working on legislation that would actually help the American people—like affordable healthcare, workers' rights, fighting food insecurity, and keeping kids in classrooms safe—they seem more interested in playing games and putting on a clown show.
It's a distraction from what should be our focus: fighting for you and the folks who need it most. While they're making ridiculous headlines, I'm pushing for laws that would improve our education system, ensure fair wages, and protect our environment!
And that's where you come in.
Would you consider donating today and becoming a Founding Donor to help us put an end to the GOP's political theatrics? To express our appreciation and to highlight your dedication to our cause, your name will be displayed on our "Signatures in Solidarity” wall! This isn't just another campaign—it's a movement aimed at transforming our country. Your contribution could be the spark that turns the tide in our favor!

We need more people in Congress who are committed to actually governing. With your support, we can make that a reality. The circus in Congress isn't a show we can afford to watch any longer. Help me bring the focus back to what truly matters!
Thank you for your continued support!
I appreciate you,
Rep. Summer Lee
