TDI hearing on proposed amendments to the Filings Made Easy (FME) rules

The Texas Department of Insurance will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendments [ [link removed] ] to the Filings Made Easy rules. The hearing will be at 2 p.m. October 4, 2023, in Room 2.029 of the Barbara Jordan Building, 1601 Congress Ave., Austin, Texas.

Some of the proposed amendments include statutory changes made by Senate Bill 1367 [ [link removed] ] (PDF) and Senate Bill 965 [ [link removed] ] (PDF), 87th Legislature, 2021. Amendments also include new requirements for personal automobile and residential property filings, and information about third-party data and models.
