The Texas Department of Insurance will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the Filings Made Easy rules. The hearing will be at 2 p.m. October 4, 2023, in Room 2.029 of the Barbara Jordan Building, 1601 Congress Ave., Austin, Texas.
Some of the proposed amendments include statutory changes made by Senate Bill 1367 (PDF) and Senate Bill 965 (PDF), 87th Legislature, 2021. Amendments also include new requirements for personal automobile and residential property filings, and information about third-party data and models.
